ICE Pharma has a deep knowledge of bile acids synthesis, their chemical properties and there application in medicines. Bile acids are under investigation for numerous conditions associated with inflammation. A recent murine study showed secondary bile acids protect against non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) highliting the importance of a healthy gut microbiome and the secondray bile acids they produce.
