NZP is excited to announce the sponsorship of the Manawatū Cyclones, the local female rugby team.
The sport of rugby has profoundly impacted the national identity and cultural fabric of New Zealand.
NZP’s manufacturing premises are situated locally in Manawatū, just outside Palmerston North (Linton) and are a workplace of many of its community.
Andrea Jackson, Manawatū Rugby Union Chief Executive speaks on our new partnership:
“With such a prominent position on our jersey, it was important to us that the organisation had values that aligned with what our Cyclones stand for. After meeting with Ed and the team and learning more about the orgnisation and their cultural pillars; Unity, Evolution & Achievement, we knew had strong organisational alignment. We are looking forward to the partnership and exciting season ahead.”
Edward Teece, General Manager NZP is also looking forward to this year’s new partnership:
“NZP has proudly operated in the Manawatū for over 50 years, we have a highly skilled team of 130 staff representing more than 20 different nationalities. Manawatū Rugby Union and the Cyclones offer a perfect partnership choice for NZP with alignment to our cultural pillars and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. We are excited and proud to enter a partnership with such a talented and dedicated team and we wish the Cyclones every success in their bid for the 2023 Farah Palmer Cup Championship title“
It is certainly going to be a great season for the Cyclones!
