End Uses
Lithocholic acid is most commonly used as an anionic biosurfactant in a surface cleaning process in semiconductor lithography. Recent studies have also indicated that it may have anti-inflammatory and anti-tumour effects, and may impact positively on protecting the intestinal environment.
